About the Playhouse
Thammasat Playhouse, a creative space for learning, experimentation, and theatrical innovation, with professional practice, commits to promoting performing and contemporary arts in Thailand and beyond.
Opened on November 26, 2019, the playhouse features a black box theatre, a scene shop, a costume shop, dressing rooms, and a green room, for multifunctional uses for various types of theatrical productions. The building also includes performing arts studios, lecture rooms, and meeting rooms, all designed to serve educational purposes, host performances, seminars, and workshops. Beside from supporting missions of the university, the theatre aims to provide collaborative space for exchange ideas and innovations for performing arts.
